Wordle Today does not require an account and does not collect personal information to let you play. Your game progress, streaks, and scores are stored locally in your own browser, not on our servers. We use Google Analytics to understand site traffic, and we plan to use Google AdSense to show ads; both of these use cookies, which is why this policy exists.

What information we collect

Information stored in your browser (not sent to us)

Our games (Wordle Today, Category Wordle, Word Connect, Sedecordle Plus, Word Unscrambler, and Mini Crossword) save your progress, streaks, scores, and daily puzzle completion status using your browser’s local storage. This data:

  • Stays on your device and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
  • Is not linked to your identity in any way.
  • Can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser’s site data or cookies for wordletoday.biz.
  • Does not transfer if you switch browsers or devices, since it never leaves your browser in the first place.

Information collected automatically (analytics)

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site (for example, which games are popular and how people navigate the site). Google Analytics may collect:

  • Your approximate location (typically city or country level, based on IP address).
  • Device and browser type, screen size, and operating system.
  • Pages visited, time spent on the site, and referring website.
